Readers' Choice: CCS Chemistry's Favorite Cover of 2023 Announced

April 29, 2024

This past month, CCS Chemistry held a competition inviting readers to choose their favorite journal cover from the twelve issues published in 2023. All issue covers from the year were compiled and sent out in a survey that was distributed to thousands of readers through the journal’s social media platforms, WeChat, Twitter, and Facebook. Readers were encouraged to vote for their favorite cover of the year. The online survey was open for two weeks, providing ample opportunity for participants to cast their votes.

Readers from 14 different countries and regions contributed to the survey. Upon tallying the votes, the cover of Issue 8, which highlighted a Research Article from Professor Gang He's lab at Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, on stretchable ionogel-containing, viologen-based ionic liquids for strain sensing applications, received the most votes. Congratulations to Prof. He and his coworkers!

We thank all participants who took the time to share their opinion, vote, and make their voices heard. As a token of our appreciation, several participating voters have been randomly selected to receive a special gift from CCS Chemistry.
